I love finding books that I can connect with emotionally. It’s the best part of reading. Every time I read a book and I don’t make that special connection, I feel a little empty. But I just finished an amazing Dean Koontz book called Life Expectancy. Granted, basically all of his books are amazing (Odd Thomas is my favorite), but this one is just so… creative and surprising. And it’s weird that it had such an effect on me, because I can’t relate to any of the events that happened in the book. (Side note: the book is about fate and destiny. It’s complete fiction but it’s written awesomely). I highly recommend this book. It’s a great story and then I can talk to someone about it :)
